This song urges the world to celebrate love, harmony and positivity

Music has the power to connect hearts, mend what is broken, heal what is painful and spread joy. With these thoughts in mind, Hungama Artist Aloud, a platform that supports and promotes independent artists and their creations, is releasing their new song, Rise Up. The melodious track is a collaboration between popular Indian and international artists Shibani Kashyap, Apache Indian, Dinero Ash and Chezin. The melodious song urges people all over the world to rise above all kinds of negativity, hatred and forget their differences with each other to become better human beings.

Today, the world around us seems sad and worried for more than one reason. The two years of devastating pandemic scare and casualties have only made matters worse. Complete healing and helping each other through difficult times can make a big difference. Rise Up, a Reggae ton number, talks about all these aspects and calls on everyone to join the movement to spread positivity, stand united, grow together, promote peace and celebrate life. Rise Up’s powerful lyrics were written by Apache Indian and Dinero Ash. Dinero Ash is also the number’s musical director and composer. Shibani, Apache and Chezin co-composed the track with Dinero. Chezin is behind the production and arrangement of the song. Recorded at Sound Garden Studio, Chezin also mixed and mastered the number.

Sharing her take on the song, Soumini Sridhara Paul, Senior Vice President of Hungama Artist Aloud said, “Hungama Artist Aloud has been dedicated to creating a space where independent artists and their creations can flourish. Our goal is to promote and help talent reach a wider audience around the world. The idea is to create moving compositions that would make a difference in society and have a positive impact. Rise Up is one of those songs. He urges everyone to rise above the negative and celebrate life, love, friendship and unity. We are very happy and proud to have worked with Apache Indian, Dinero Ash, Shibani Kashyap and Chezin for the track. We hope “Rise Up” will bring people together and motivate them to do good and help each other create a better world.

Speaking about Rise Up, Apache Indian shares, “We wanted to create a song that has the power to connect people and inspire them to come together to bring about positive change. While writing the lyrics, Dinero and I tried our best to use the right kind of words and phrases that would properly convey our emotions. It is up to us to untangle all the bad knots and work to build a world filled with peace and harmony.

Shibani Kashyap begins by saying that Rise Up is a kind of anthem that has the potential to bring people together to promote positivity. “Vice like hatred, anger and jealousy can only spread darkness. Covid has made us realize that nothing is in our hands, and the most important thing is unity and nothing matters beyond love and kindness. Rise up says it all through a melody that everyone easily connects with. I hope everyone will feel the song,” she adds.

Echoing a similar opinion, Dinero Ash said, “It’s not just a song, but it’s an emotion. Rise Up came straight from our hearts. As artists, we understand the power of music and how it can make people smile. It’s one of those songs that would give everyone goosebumps because it makes us think, encourages us to choose well and pushes us to do well for each other. It’s time we worked to make this world a better place for us and for future generations.

Chezin, on the other hand, adds, “If there’s one thing that brings people together other than love, it’s music. Pure and moving tracks have the immersive ability to transport people to a completely different world and wake them up. Rise Up is a song that calls people to wake up from their slumber, leave negativity behind and move on. He urges people to be compassionate, friendly, loving, to stick together and lead a peaceful life. It took us time to compose and record the song because we wanted it to have the right effect on humanity. I hope Rise UP awakens the inner goodness in all of us.
