Square Enix has announced a new rhythmic action title set in the fantasy Kingdom Hearts universe. Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is heading to PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch later in 2020.
Remembrance melody will see it Kingdom Hearts Take a journey through multiple worlds, battling armies of the Heartless to the beat of Yoko Shimomura’s fast-paced score. A new trailer, which you can check out below, features Remembrance melodyinteresting concept of traditional mix Kingdom Hearts gameplay with the track-based mechanics of music games such as Guitar Hero and Frequency. Final Fantasy Theatrerythme fans know the score.
Remembrance melody will feature over 140 pieces from both the Kingdom Hearts saga and catalog of classic Disney films. Square Enix promises a variety of playable characters, as well as a host of guests from every world, like Hercules and Aladdin. Players will be able to go it alone or compete online in Vs. Multiplayer modes. It’s a really new idea and well suited to the series. Can’t wait to see the full tracklist, fingers crossed for Poor Unfortunate Souls, right?
