DENVER, CO, USA, October 8, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — With the release in August of their album “I Come From Earth”, the global collective Harmony Dreamers established themselves on the international music scene. Prolific songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Byron Lee Scott’s new studio project delivers a timely message of global unity with contributions from an array of top musicians from every continent, including 20 international backing singers. The humorous title track earned Top 15 status on UK radio, reaching the UK iTunes Pop Songs chart, while racking up over 40,000 Spotify streams and over 6,000 monthly listeners. The song’s lyric video has garnered over 5,000 views on YouTube. So how did an act with Irish and Nigerian bassists, Spanish and Venezuelan percussionists, and singers from the United States, Argentina, and Austria come to record and release a COUNTRY musical version of their hit song? ?
“There are several reasons I decided to release a country version of the title track, ‘I Come From Earth,’ Scott said. “It wasn’t a last minute decision. It was recorded at the start of the album project. I’ve always liked artists who can sometimes write a song with humor, like Joe Walsh. One of my favorite artists of all time is Jerry Reed. I like a lot of his songs, and he can do a lot of styles, in addition to humor. Nevertheless, some of my favorite songs were ‘Amos Moses’, ‘When You’re Hot You’re Hot’ and ‘Good Lord Mr Ford’. I think this song is about the overall concept of the album, about connection and unity, but in a light-hearted way. And because I loved Jerry Reed’s music so much, it only seemed natural to try a Nashville-flavored version. I bet heaven is a lot more fun since Jerry came along.
